RSBi, one of Europe's largest supported employers, has been awarded a £275,000 contract to design and manufacture all furniture for a new premium student accommodation development in Glasgow.

Royal Strathclyde Blindcraft Industries (RSBi), part of the Glasgow City Council-owned City Building group, has completed bespoke kitchens, bathroom furniture and wardrobes for the flagship Buchanan Wharf built-to-rent (BTR) development.

City Building has achieved a major milestone in its ambitious project to deliver a new, green training college for its apprentices. The building, which is set to be completed this summer, has now installed 69 solar photovoltaic panels on its roof, which will enable it to significantly reduce it
