Turnberry Donald Trump's plans to invest over £100 million into the famous Turnberry golf resort with new features including a massive Roman-style fountain outside the clubhouse have been approved.

Detailed design work for the new Girvan and South Carrick leisure and community facility is about to get underway, following the appointment of the contractors to design and construct the new building.

Kier Construction has been appointed by hub South West Scotland to deliver two state-of-the-art secondary schools – one in Troon and one in Ayr - on behalf of South Ayrshire Council.
