CBRE strengthens Glasgow presence with new director hire

Sarah Hagen

Real estate advisory firm CBRE has appointed Sarah Hagen as a director at its Glasgow office.

She will lead the Glasgow Office Agency team with responsibility for investor and occupier services. Ms Hagen joins following a nine-year stint at Knight Frank, where she has been a partner.

Her key clients have included Ardstone, Topland, HFD, Columbia Threadneedle and Esson Properties, and she has played a pivotal role in some of Glasgow’s most notable refurbishment projects in recent years, including Sentinel and 100 Queen Street as well as the new development at 177 Bothwell Street.

Beyond her day-to-day work, Ms Hagen sits on the Judging Panel for the British Council for Offices Awards in Scotland.

Angela Lowe, head of Office Agency for CBRE Scotland, said: “Sarah is an established expert in the Glasgow market with an impressive track record on deal delivery and an ability to provide insightful, market-led advice.

“However, just as importantly, she consistently demonstrates enthusiasm, dedication and knowledge that will help ensure the team continues working proactively together to get the best results for our clients. We look forward to welcoming Sarah to the business in the new year.”

David Smith, managing director of CBRE Scotland, added: “We are delighted to announce that Sarah will be heading up our award-winning Advisory & Transactions Team in Glasgow.

“In addition to her reputation as one of Glasgow’s most active agents, Sarah’s role as a BCO Judge evidences her dedication to advancing industry standards and to recognising excellence in the field.

“Her appointment demonstrates our ongoing commitment to recruiting the market’s top talent so that our clients continue to benefit from the best advice and service. I look forward to working with Sarah in her new role and am 100% confident she will be an asset to CBRE.”
