Clark Contracts hails £75m of new business

Clark Contracts has had a record start to 2025, having secured £75 million of new orders.

The largest of these new contracts is a £30m project to construct a new 273-bed student accommodation development on Osborne Street in Glasgow. A further PBSA development has also been secured, for a 76-bed development on Canongate, Edinburgh, for S Harrison developments.

Along with these larger contracts, numerous projects have been secured by the contractor’s specialist Small Works Division, including refurbishments to care homes, hospitals and laboratories, external refurbishment works on George Street, Edinburgh and several projects for repeat customers the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, NHS Scotland and Scottish Police Authority.



Further awards, include contracts for the refurbishment the iconic Filmhouse cinema in Edinburgh, the construction of a new waste management facility in Fort William for The Highland Council, the Cat B fit out of 177 Bothwell Street for NHS Education for Scotland and Public Health Scotland and the partial conversion of the Old Motherwell Town Hall into 20 social housing flats for North Lanarkshire Council, which is being delivered by the main contractors Housing division.
