Details: Getting Better Together Ltd is a community based health initiative based in the Shotts area which promotes the education, health and well being of North Lanarkshire residents. This project aims to support the local community of Springhill and the wider Shotts area with the replacement of an old community hall and the creation of a modern community hub situated within land previously owned by North Lanarkshire Council. The new single storey building will be c300m2 including Hall, kitchen, accessible toilets and an internet radio / music facility.

In addition to the building, the hub aims to incorporate a number of outdoor facilities including:

- a children’s play area;

- a community garden;



- an enclosed toddler play space;

- formal and informal pathways linking the hub to local communities;

- a cycle pump track;

- a multi-court pitch; and

- accessible parking and cycle racks
