Details: The works comprise the restoration of the central Category A listed pavilion located at Tarlair swimming pool.

Including the demolition and replacement of a single storey extension. Replacing with a new modern single storey extension with concrete slabs, timber framed marble clad walls, aluminum windows and timber flat roof with waterproof coatings.

Internal works to the main pavilion include a full internal strip out back to concrete walls, including all redundant services, removal and replacement of the existing concrete floors, timber floor and wall panel restoration works, concrete repair works to walls, columns, beams and soffits, new roof coverings, opening previously filled openings and replacing with steel windows, cills and hardwood doors all in keeping with the original Art Deco design. New kitchen, WC’s, ceramic floor and wall tiles, hardwood flooring, cork insulated internal walls with lime plaster finish, new M&E services.

Externally the works include new surface and foul drainage including the installation of a treatment tank, concrete repairs to walls, soffits, columns and beams, full redecoration, restoration and replacement works to the existing balustrades and handrails, installation of new water and electric utilities to the site from shore road including connections.
