Develon and DD130-7 Dozer set for ScotPlant debuts

Castle Douglas-based James Gordon Ltd (Gordons), the authorised dealer for Develon for the whole of Scotland and the county of Cumbria in England, is showing the Develon range for the first time at the ScotPlant 2024 Exhibition.

Taking place at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh from 26-27 April 2024, ScotPlant will see premieres on the Gordons stand not only for the Develon brand itself, formerly known as Doosan Construction Equipment, but also the new DD130-7 15.3 tonne Dozer and the latest version of the popular DX140LC-7K 14.6 tonne crawler excavator.

These products will be joined by a selection of Develon products from the smallest - mini-excavators from 1-10 tonne and the DL80TL compact wheel loader - to some of the larger machines such as the DX140LCR-7 15.6 tonne, DX225LC-7 23 tonne and DX300LC-7 31.5 tonne crawler excavators and the DL380-7 wheel loader. The display will also include a Develon DX235LCR-7 24.3 tonne crawler excavator specially adapted for scrapping vehicles.

The new DX140LC-7K has replaced Develon’s successful DX140LC-7 model. Whilst the performance and working range are the same as the previous model, the new machine incorporates many improvements that enhance safety and convenience both for the operator and for working on site, together with a better operator experience, particularly from a maintenance point of view.

Visitors to the Gordons stand at ScotPlant can see selected models from Develon’s next generation mini-excavator range at ScotPlant. The models on show include the DX10Z 1 tonne, DX20Z-7 2 tonne, DX27Z-7 2.8 tonne, DX55R-7 5.7 tonne, DX63-7 6.2 tonne and DX85R-7 9.5 tonne Stage V models. All these machines offer power and torque among the highest in their respective classes and cover many applications including heavy duty work.
