The aim of this work activity was to provide delegates with the insight of working on a construction site and being involved in a live work activity. The delegates actively used their communication skills, worked as part of a team and learned the basic principles of mono-blocking paving.

Business development director David Wilson said: “We were delighted to participate with our partners, Engie in this industry challenge for young people. We recognise the importance of encouraging young people to consider a career in our industry and events like this provide an informed insight into the world of civil engineering.

“I look forward to some of the young people who were involved today becoming future employees of Advance Construction Scotland Ltd.”
