New business development manager joins Kirkwood Timber Frame

Dyke McKenize

Aberdeenshire-based Kirkwood Timber Frame has bolstered its team with the appointment of a new business development manager.

Dyke McKenize, from Dundee, brings over 30 years of experience to the role, having worked in various positions within the sector – and in locations across the UK - beginning his career in manufacturing before moving into sales & business development roles.

Through these positions with notable construction & timber companies, he has supported businesses working across the housing, health care and education sectors – including around the development of student accommodation.

“I’m excited to join Kirkwood Timber Frame and look forward to supporting the team by getting out there, building relationships and using my knowledge, experience and contacts to help the business grow.” Says Dyke. “Despite the construction industry experiencing a difficult period at present, there is huge potential in the timber frame sector. I believe that Kirkwood has positioned itself well to capitalise on this opportunity.”

Kirkwood Timber Frame manufactures custom-designed, precision-engineered timber frame systems for developers, contractors, housing associations, private and public institutions and self-build customers.

Malcolm Thomson, managing director with Kirkwood Timber Frame, said: “I’m sure Dyke will be a great addition to our business. He is an experienced and results driven Business Development Manager with an exceptional track record in developing new client business and strategies for growth.”
