Throughout 2025, Persimmon staff organised a variety of fundraising events, including golf days, bake sales, step challenges, and regular dress-down days at the regional head office in Garthamlock. Their combined efforts have once again generated a significant contribution, helping fund vital services for patients and their families.

The donation was presented in person at Persimmon’s Royale Meadows development in Muirhead, where Morag Cunningham, director of fundraising at Beatson Cancer Charity, joined Persimmon West Scotland managing director Chris Logan and sales director Tara Fitzpatrick to receive the cheque and meet staff behind the fundraising efforts.

Chris Logan said: “We are delighted to mark another successful year of fundraising for Beatson Cancer Charity. Our teams are committed not only to building homes but also to supporting the communities where we operate, and this donation is a testament to their dedication and generosity.”

Tara Fitzpatrick added: “It’s inspiring to see our staff come together to raise over £14,000 for The Beatson. Their hard work will directly support patients and families, helping provide vital services at a time when they are needed most. We are proud to continue this partnership and look forward to what we can achieve together in the future.”

To see their teams come together once again and raise more than 14,000 is a real testament to their commitment to supporting people affected by cancer.

“Partnerships like this make a meaningful difference, helping us continue to provide specialist services and practical support to patients and families across the west of Scotland.”

This donation forms part of Persimmon Homes’ Community Champions programme, which sees each of the homebuilder’s regional businesses donate up to £6,000 every quarter to local charities, schools, and community initiatives across Scotland.
