Persimmon West Scotland to build 22 new homes in Darnley development

Persimmon West Scotland has purchased new land in Darnley to complete their Sycamore Park development

Persimmon will deliver an additional 22 energy-efficient new homes after striking a deal for the purchase of new land.

The land, which has detailed planning permission, will be brought to life by the homebuilder with the creation of a mixture of three- and four-bedroom homes.

The construction of the new homes on the site will mark the fourth and final phase of Persimmon’s Sycamore Park development.

Persimmon first began work in the area in 2015. Since then, over 500 new homes have been built, attracting first-time buyers, downsizers and growing families alike. As part of the final phase of the development, Persimmon West Scotland will also contribute to the provision of new open spaces around the community.

Craig Moore, Persimmon West Scotland land director, said: “We are delighted to have concluded the purchase of new land within Darnley, which will lead to the completion of our Sycamore Park development.

“We look forward to delivering a further 22 energy-efficient new homes within Glasgow and creating more opportunities for local families to own their own home.”
