RIAS showcases Andrew Doolan shortlist with new videos

The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) has unveiled a series of videos to highlight the seven shortlisted projects for its celebrated RIAS Andrew Doolan Best Building in Scotland Award.

The V&A Dundee, Mackintosh at the Willow and Collective on Calton Hill are among the projects selected from a longlist of the 10 winners of this year’s RIAS Awards.

The Highland Housing Alliance’s Raining’s Stairs development in Inverness, Briongos MacKinnon House in Strathaven by Richard Murphy Architects and Stallan-Brand’s Broomlands Primary School in Kelso dropped out.

The winner will be announced live at a dinner at the National Museum of Scotland, Edinburgh on October 4 by Aileen Campbell, cabinet secretary for communities and local government, and the Doolan family.
