Stewart Milne Timber Systems has been awarded the Best of Health & Safety Award at the annual Barratt Scotland West Dinner.

These homes are manufactured in Stewart Milne’s factories, shipped to site and craned into place on site.

Commenting on the win, David Scott, managing director of Barratt West Scotland, observed the high standards Stewart Milne operate to, especially on the high-risk activities of working at height and crane operations.

Stewart Milne’s construction director, David Nimmo, said: “Health and safety is of paramount importance to both Barratt and Stewart Milne, indeed it’s the number one priority, as the only way to build is safely. It is particularly pleasing to be recognised by a large housebuilder in this way and the award is testament to the close co-operation on site and at all levels between Barratt and Stewart Mine Timber Systems.”
