Taylor Wimpey makes second donation to Bishopton youth charity

Team members from The Good Shepherd Centre in Bishopton visit Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s local sales executive Claire Anderson at Dargavel View to receive their latest cheque.
Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has boosted its partnership with The Good Shepherd Centre in Bishopton by giving its second donation, which serves part of its wider plans to contribute £25 for every new home sold and legally completed within its Dargavel View development.
This most recent donation of £1,125 brings the total given so far to £1,825, embodying more than a third of Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s total commitment of £5,325.
The initiative is part of the wider Dargavel Village masterplan. The charity, The Good Shepherd Centre, gives secure and intensive services for vulnerable young people through personalised care, education, and the development of skills.
Robert Clark, head of Intensive Support & Throughcare at The Good Shepherd Centre, said: “We’re incredibly grateful to receive this second donation from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland.
“Their continued support is helping us make real progress towards transforming our outdoor space into a multi-functional area that promotes wellbeing, learning, and creativity.”
