Thomas & Adamson relocates London office

Construction and property consultancy Thomas & Adamson has relocated its London office to Southwark in preparation for further growth.
Now based alongside Egis’ UK team at 3 Valentine Place, the move from its previous home near London’s West End will give Thomas & Adamson room to increase its headcount, as well as opening further opportunities for collaboration and integration with Egis’ teams.
In 2024, Thomas & Adamson was acquired by the global architectural, advisory, construction engineering and mobility services firm, bringing access to a broader range of services to clients. Closer proximity in London will facilitate increased collaboration with complementary services such as Egis’ aviation and digital asset management teams, while providing greater access to central business development, marketing and recruitment functions.
Having had a footprint in the capital for over 25 years, Thomas & Adamson has made key senior hires in the last 12 months to spearhead its expansion in the city. Gemma Prior was appointed head of cost management, while Gary Wait was named lead of the project management offering. Adding to its range of capabilities, a dedicated building surveying team was also established in London earlier this year.
Alongside the development of the team, Thomas & Adamson has celebrated recent successes with projects in the life sciences, residential and workplace sectors for a range of high-profile clients, including a national housebuilder, Royal London and Advance Research Clusters (ARC). Future plans include further expansion into the public sector, building on the team’s previous experience and Thomas & Adamson’s extensive track record in the education sector, as well as healthcare, government and local authority works.
Founded in 1935, Thomas & Adamson has a team of over 100 staff across the UK delivering project management, cost management, building surveying and construction safety services.
Zander Muego, director at Thomas & Adamson, said: “Strengthening our capabilities in the capital and expanding our footprint is a key pillar in our growth plans, and moving our London team to a new home alongside Egis is a significant step in this process. Several of the clients, stakeholders and project partners we work with are based in and around Southwark, so it will be a great location to set up our new base. It is an exciting time for our team in London, and we look forward to the new opportunities and collaboration that the move will bring.”
