SSEN Transmission has pledged to support the delivery of more than 1,000 new homes across the north of Scotland by 2030 with a landmark new strategy.

Balfour Beatty has been awarded a contract to construct three new substations in Argyll, on behalf of SSEN Transmission. The contract has been awarded through the GIS2 RIIO T2 framework, to which the company was appointed in 2022.
