ACCORD Hospice receives latest donation from Taylor Wimpey

Nurses and David McFadden, fundraising and communications manager from ACCORD Hospice, receive Taylor Wimpey West Scotland’s latest donation of £525 from local sales executive Susan Davidson at the hospice in Paisley

Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has teamed up with the ACCORD Hospice in Paisley to donate £25 for each new home sold and legally completed at its new development at Hawkhead Gardens.

The latest tranche of £525 was donated by Taylor Wimpey West Scotland this month, taking its overall donation to date to £3,825, which is almost 73% of the total grand sum of £5,250 that will be paid to ACCORD.

This latest donation recognises the ongoing relationship between Taylor Wimpey West Scotland and the ACCORD Hospice, which is located within just a few minutes’ drive from its local Hawkhead Gardens development. The money continues to contribute towards the hospice’s ongoing mission to provide palliative and end-of-life care to people living with or affected by a life-limiting illness in Renfrewshire and parts of East Renfrewshire.

Audrey Ross, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: ”We are delighted to continue our support of the local ACCORD Hospice. Our donations to date of £3,825 reflect our ongoing relationship with this essential local charity and service that provides a link between our new community at Hawkhead Gardens and the existing community of Paisley.

“Working with the ACCORD Hospice is a real honour, and we are extremely proud to continue to show our support in this way. Being able to work with local charities and organisations that surround our developments means a great deal to us, and it’s always lovely to know that we are helping to make a difference to the lives of people in our local communities.”

David McFadden from ACCORD Hospice said: “We are extremely grateful for the support that we continue to receive from Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, and we can’t thank them enough for their ongoing support of our work. Since 2019, their donations have been put to work locally to help us achieve the overall aim of our service to the local community. On behalf of everyone at ACCORD, I would like to say a huge thank you.”
