Taylor Wimpey East Scotland has given a substantial collection of food provision to Dunfermline Foodbank, accumulated through staff-led summer donation efforts.
The donation reflects Taylor Wimpey East Scotland’s efforts to support the communities surrounding its developments.
Holly Allenby, marketing manager for Taylor Wimpey East Scotland, said: “Our team was keen to support Dunfermline Foodbank during what is traditionally one of their most challenging periods.
“Summer can be a tough time for many families, and food banks play a crucial role in helping bridge that gap.”
At present, Dunfermline Foodbank is encouraging supporters to donate items from its Top five Most Needed List - This includes long-life milk, tinned fruit, tinned meat, diluting juice, and toiletries.
Sandra Beveridge, project manager at Dunfermline Foodbank, added: “We’re incredibly grateful to Taylor Wimpey East Scotland for their generous donation.
“Summer is a period when demand for our services increases, and contributions like this help us ensure we can continue to support local families in crisis.”
Looking forward, Taylor Wimpey East Scotland intends to continue working with local organisations to deliver support and a positive contribution to communities.
