Taylor Wimpey East Scotland has cause to celebrate after five site managers each scooped a prestigious NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award.

Graham Spence (Victoria Grange, Monifieth), Allan Anderson (Greenlaw Mill, Penicuik); Danny McNee (Almond Park); Barry Watson (Wallace Grange, Dunfermline) and Eddie McCann (Taylor Wimpey at Kingseat) are the proud recipients of their individual awards

Each now go forward to the Scottish regional awards final to be held in Glasgow in October to find out who’s the best of the best in Scotland.

The awards recognise an individual’s dedication to building high-quality homes for new homebuyers, and they are presented following a rigorous judging process by NHBC inspectors. This includes assessing the developments throughout the year, as well as spot checks, which gives homebuyers the assurance that award-winning developments provide top-quality homes and excellent customer service.

Martyn Campbell, production director, said: “We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of quality and customer service, and this recognition for five of our site managers in the east of Scotland has ensured that we continue to be an NHBC award-winning housebuilder year after year.

“Competition for an NHBC Quality Award is tough, and this year’s awards are thoroughly deserved in recognition of an impressive team effort at these award-winning developments.

“Our five site managers now move to the final stages of the regional competition and we’re really proud to acknowledge that we have some of the best site managers in Scotland.”

Karen Armstrong, sales and marketing director, added: “Having five site managers through to the final stages of the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards is fantastic news and recognises our drive to deliver the highest levels of quality, service and customer care for our customers.

“We will be supporting our five winners as they progress through to the regional awards and hopefully the grand final in London early next year.”

The competition’s regional event in Scotland takes place on 5 October 2018 in Glasgow, whilst the Supreme Awards gala final will be held in London on 25 January 2019.
