The build-up is well underway at the Scottish Event Campus in Glasgow, where Hall 5 is filling with exhibition stands ahead of the Scottish Construction Summit 2026.

With more than 2,300 delegates already registered, the event promises to be unmissable for anyone working in the sector.

The Summit is backed by headline sponsor SPI Piling, event sponsors Advance Construction Group, Supplier Development Programme, ScotHoist, NASC and Quantify Advisors, alongside legal sponsors MFMac and Axiom Advocates. Their support has helped the event scale from a university venue to one of the biggest in the country.

Speaker highlights

The main stage programme features a keynote session from Steven Boyd MBE, director at Longstone Consulting; Lisa Goldie, head of construction procurement policy at the Scottish Government, and a return to Scotland for last year’s keynote speaker Mark Farmer.

Sessions will tackle the challenges identified at the 2025 Summit, including labour shortages and commercial margins, and look at how the industry can build a more resilient future.

Three stages

As well as the main stage, content will run across the Scottish Construction Now stage, with legal masterclasses delivered by MFMac and Axiom Advocates and a live podcast from Hard Hat Talks, and the new Scottish Housing Summit, delivered with sister publication Scottish Housing News. The housing stage is a central hub for social and affordable housing stakeholders, reflecting the strong participation of housing associations at previous events.

Future Talent Hub

New for 2026, the Future Talent Hub responds directly to the workforce concerns raised last year, with a high proportion of experienced workers nearing retirement and a widening skills gap. The dedicated space will connect the next generation of professionals with the leaders shaping Scotland’s built environment.
