Maxi to refurbish Edinburgh's Deanbank House

Maxi Construction has been awarded a multi-million-pound contract from the City of Edinburgh Council for the design and refurbishment of Deanbank House.

Procured via the Crown Commercial Service Construction Work & Associated Services framework, the project includes extensive external and internal refurbishment works to the traditional building to provide classroom space for Canaan Lane Primary School.

John Aitchison, Maxi Construction’s managing director, said: “We’re pleased to continue our association with The City of Edinburgh Council for the delivery of improved education facilities. This project also represents our 8th contract award via the Crown Commercial Service CWAS Framework.”



The project team includes employer’s agent Currie & Brown, principal designer & architect Holmes Miller, quantity surveyor Doig + Smith, structural engineer Will Rudd, mechanical & electrical engineer Blackwood Partnership and landscape architect ERZ.
