Plans to deliver the replacement East Calder Primary School have been approved by West Lothian Council.

Dunfermline-based furniture and fit-out specialist Deanestor has delivered a £1.8 million contract for Morrison Construction for a new £60m multi-school campus in West Lothian, its 12th project for the contractor.

The newly refurbished, and greatly expanded Cockenzie Health Centre, home to The Harbours Medical Practice, has been officially opened following a £4.1 million refurbishment and expansion.
