Kier Group plc, the parent company of Kier Construction in Scotland, has announced strong half-year results for the six months to 31 December 2014. Group turnover increased by 11 per cent from £1,432 million in 2013 to £1,583m, while pre-tax profits slipped down 2 per cent from £36.8m to £35.9m.
