Cruden secures place on Link's new build housing framework

Cruden Building Scotland has been appointed as a leading contractor for new build housing in Scotland by Link Group.

The four-year construction framework offers Link and its partners a sleeker and more effective route for procurement, allowing them to access the skills of specialist companies from across the construction sector in a streamlined manner.

By securing its place on the framework, Cruden has consolidated its long-standing relationship with Link and will continue to offer expert advice in building more affordable and energy efficient homes across the country. The developer will offer its services to a variety of high-quality projects ranging in value from £2m - £30m.

Cruden’s appointment follows a detailed procurement process undertaken by Link which assesses both the quality and value for money elements being offered by companies. The award-winning housebuilder was selected for its extensive experience in delivering a wide range of housing tenures including affordable, MMR and market sale projects.

Discussing the recent appointment, Gordon Lee, partnering and procurement director, said: “It’s a pleasure to have been appointed to the Link Housing framework as a go-to contractor for housing projects across Scotland.

“At Cruden, we put a great deal of effort into helping clients to bridge the current affordable housing gap by building more homes to suit everyone. Link Housing is closely aligned to our values and beliefs. We look forward to continuing to create new homes and new opportunities alongside all our framework partners.”

Cruden Building’s Framework portfolio also includes the SPA New Build Housing Construction H2 framework, Scotland Excel and Tier 1B contractor status on both the hub South West Scotland and hub West Scotland Frameworks and the recently created hub South East Framework.
