Latest Harbour Homes window replacement programme completed
More than 1,000 Harbour Homes properties have now benefited from a planned investment delivered in partnership with CCG over the past decade, with more set to follow later this year, following the completion of the latest phase of window replacements.
The programme saw CCG manufacture and install more than 400 high-performance PVCu windows to 111 households across Leith, bringing the total number of Harbour Homes properties upgraded through recent window replacement programmes to more than 800 since 2023.
The completed workstream, culminating with Academy Park just south of Leith Links, forms part of a longstanding partnership between Harbour Homes and CCG, with both organisations working together over the past decade to deliver a range of planned maintenance and improvement programmes across the Association’s housing stock, as well as various large-scale new-build residential developments.
Following the successful completion of this latest phase, CCG has been appointed to deliver a further window replacement programme that will commence this year.
Mike Gibson, director of group strategic finance & assets, said: “Our ongoing investment in our communities and properties ensures that our tenants’ homes remain safe, comfortable and energy efficient for the future. Our window replacement programme is progressing well, and we look forward to working with CCG during the next phase of the project.”
Throughout the programme, CCG’s Asset Management team worked closely with residents to coordinate installations, minimise disruption and ensure works were delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
Jim Cunningham, Asset Management manager at CCG, said: “Harbour Homes is a highly valued client of the CCG Group and we’re delighted to have successfully completed another programme of improvements on their behalf.
“Residents will now benefit from high-quality, energy-efficient windows that will enhance their comfort, security and performance of their homes for years to come.
“We look forward to building on the success of this programme when we commence the next phase of works later this year.”
