Hub South East Scotland

Construction work has been completed on the new £32 million West Calder High School in West Lothian. The keys to the state-of-the-art building were handed over to West Lothian Council on June 29 by developer hub South East and main contractor Morrison Construction.

The new Queensferry High School project has reached an important milestone as financial close was achieved yesterday clearing the way for main construction works to begin, with the school due to be completed by Spring 2020.

The wait is almost over for the East Lothian Community Hospital as the project takes another major step forward this week. The keys to the freshly completed Out-Patients Department were given to NHS Lothian on February 23 and will open to patients from March 12.
